There’s a ton of hair removal products on the market, which makes choosing one difficult. Some products work better then others while there’s some that don’t work at all. My composition weeds out the bad hair removal products from the good.
Hair removal systems is a huge market, which makes it tough to choose one that’s effective. Women especially have tons of different hair removal products to choose from. The problem is many of these systems do not work as claimed or even at all in some cases and testing them out on your own can be very painful and expensive.
There are two main categories of hair removers- Depilation and Epilation. Epilation deals with removing the whole hair while depilation only removes the part of the hair that is above the skin. The most common and most used hair removal products are razors. Whether it be electric or disposable most people have used a razor and many still do. Razors are probably the least expensive of all the hair removal systems as well.
Razors do a great job of getting rid of hair, but you have to do it all over again in less than 24 hours in most cases- this is especially true for women. More Epilation- type solutions comes from this simple fact. Epilators of various kinds, such as tweezing and waxing will allow for a longer lasting shave over simply using a razor. These methods are inherently flawed because they cause a fair degree of pain, particularly when used in sensitive areas
For all of the products that do work it seems there’s plenty that do not. At all costs, be sure to stay away from electrolysis, Photoepilators and the US- banned X-ray hair removal method. None of these have been proven to work and some can do more harm then good. Be selective in choosing your hair removal solution, there’s lots of people waiting to take your money, which is where diligent research comes in.
Hair removal systems beyond razors are out there, however. One very popular and well reviewed product is the No No Hair removal system. People love the No No and it was voted product of the year in the 2011 Product of the Year USA awards. There’s no pain with the No No system either, and you get a long lasting hair removal effect to boot. Tons of people are jumping on this particular bandwagon and for good reason.
Longer term hair removal is also achievable with creams of various kinds as well. Just like with anything you put in or on your body, be sure to be a label reader and assure that there’s no allergic issue with any of the ingredients.
If all else fails you still have your trusty razor to fall back on. Different strokes for different folks, if you’ll pardon the pun, are what choosing a hair removal product that suits you best. The key is find what works for you and go with it.
